Xiaomi has begun internal testing for Android 12 on a number of mid-range devices.

When it comes to new device releases and software development, Xiaomi is perhaps the most active Android vendor.
Aside from releasing a new device nearly every month, Xiaomi also distributes daily and weekly updates to smartphones sold in China through its MIUI beta testing program. The massive device repository is great for making more money, but it creates a challenge when software development is involved.
On the plus side, Xiaomi is no slouch in this department.

Xiaomi is working hard to get the MIUI 12.5 upgrade out to all of its eligible devices.
In the meanwhile, the company is launching an internal Android 12 testing program for a few of its eligible devices.
You can have a look at the list of these devices.

  • Redmi Note 10 5G
  • Redmi Note 10T
  • Mi 10 Lite 5G /Zoom/Youth
  • Redmi K30 5G / 5G Racing
  • Redmi K30i 5G
  • Mi 10i / Mi 10T Lite
  • Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G
  • POCO X3 GT

As far as the Android 12 update is concerned, there’s a long list of devices we think Xiaomi will be upgrading to the new OS when the time comes.

Xiaomi has published the Android 12 closed beta update for the Mi 11 and Redmi K40 series.
The company is also planning to offer a closed beta version of Android 12 for the Mi 10S, Mi 11 Lite, POCO F3, and Mi 11X/Redmi K40.
More Xiaomi smartphones will be added to this list in the near future as they receive the Android 12 update.
