Every December, Qualcomm hosts its annual summit to introduce the latest generation 800 series Snapdragon chip, which will power the next wave of Android flagships. This year appears to be no exception, as leaks of the Snapdragon 898 have already surfaced.
This year also, snapdragon is holding its tech summit from 30th November to 2nd December and this reveals that Snapdragon 898 is going to launch between these dates.
Three Cortex-A710 mid-cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and four efficient Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.79 GHz assist the primary core. Furthermore, the Snapdragon 898 will benefit from an increase in graphics performance thanks to the Arena 730 GPU, which is believed to be based on Samsung’s 4nm technology. While no information about the modem has been revealed, the Snapdragon 898 is believed to feature the X65 5G modem, which should be capable of maximum downlink rates of 10Gbps.
As of now, no information is available regarding the phone in the image, although it is most likely the Xiaomi 12 or a Vivo X80 series gadget. Both phones are slated to arrive around the end of December or the beginning of January.
