Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and S8 Ultra Specifications

Samsung released three Galaxy Tab S7 series Android tablets, and reports suggest that three successors will be released in 2022, with upgraded features and a massive 14.6-inch AMOLED screen on the Tab S8 Ultra variant.

The Tab S8 resembles its predecessor in appearance, with thin uniform bezels on the front surrounding its alleged 11-inch 120 Hz LCD and a flat back and sides. The antenna line cutouts around the rear are identical to those on the Tab S7, as is the magnetic strip for charging the S Pen, as are the twin 13MP and 5MP cameras. The standard Galaxy Tab S8 features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 8GB of RAM with 128 or 256GB of storage, quad speakers, an S Pen, and an 8,000-mAh battery with 45W charging. It measures 6.3mm thick and weighs 502g.

Finally, the beast – we don’t know the precise name, but we’re assuming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. This model will sport a 14.6-inch 120-Hz OLED screen, twin front-facing cameras (8 MP wide + 5 MP ultrawide), an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a 12,000-mAh battery.
It’s 5.5mm thin and weighs 650g, and it’ll come in two flavors: one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and another with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The rest is identical to the S8+.

The Ultra is reported to have a screen-to-body ratio of 92 percent and the thinnest bezels ever seen on a tablet. Also, it is rumored that this ultra version of the series will be with a small notch, tablet with a notch is something we haven’t seen in a while so let’s wait for how it turns out for the market and customers experience. Also, it won’t have a 3.5 mm jack and will be featuring a Quad speaker.

The Galaxy Tab S8 series is likely to be announced by Samsung in January or February 2022, with the base 11-inch device starting at roughly $840. According to previous Ice rumours, the tablets would use Snapdragon 898 CPUs rather than the Exynos 2200, which will be included even in the US versions of the S22 phones. The Galaxy Tab S8 is rumored to have an 11″ LCD display, while the S8+ will have a 12.4″ OLED display, both at 120 Hz. Because all three will support 45W charging, the main distinctions will be the screen, battery, and pricing.
