Redmi Smart Band Pro; Xiaomi’s new Angular Design fitness track is here

The Redmi Watch 2 and Redmi Note 11 series will be revealed in China this week. However, it appears that Redmi is also planning to launch another wearable outside of China on the same day, in the European market. On October 28, the Redmi Smart Band Pro fitness tracker is expected to be released in Europe. The Redmi Smart Band Pro is expected to be the successor of the Redmi Smart Band, which was introduced in India in September 2020. The new smart band will compete with the Huawei Watch Fit, which is currently available in Europe. The Smart Band Pro, like the previous Redmi fitness tracker, is likely to be a low-cost wearable, although no pricing information has been released.

The Redmi Smart Band Pro, according to marketing renders received by tipster Roland Quandt, would have a larger display that resembles the Xiaomi Mi Band 6. For reference, the Redmi Smart Band has a 1.08-inch screen. According to the source, the software and interface are also comparable to the Mi Band 6. The device will have a flat display and will appear physically similar to the Honor Band 6.
The straps of the Band Pro will be replaceable with other straps, like with other wearables. The fitness tracker will be charged via a special magnetic charging connection with a USB Type-A port on the end. In the images, the fitness tracker has a black silicone strap with a single pin to secure it to the wrist. On the back of the, we can see the heart rate monitor as well as the Redmi logo.

Since the Redmi Smart Band was released with capabilities such as a touch screen display, several fitness monitoring modes, 5ATM water resistance, music management, and so on, we may expect the same on the Pro, along with some additional improvements.

The new Redmi Smart Band Pro will most likely be unveiled for the first time on October 28, 2021, and will go on sale in Europe, including Germany, shortly after. Presumably, Xiaomi intends to present the device as a kind of response to the Huawei Watch Fit, i.e. a low-cost fitness tracker with some smartwatch functions.
Till then stay tuned with us to know more about this product.
