Redmi Note 9 Pro Max receiving MIUI 12.5 enhanced edition update only for Pilot testers

Xiaomi 10T Pro customers across Europe began to receive the MIUI 12.5.6.0.RJDEUXM upgrade in the first days of the month. Unfortunately, the spread was quite delayed, and we finally received the fresh firmware on our phone earlier this week. We  waited for at least two full charges before sharing impressions with you, so we can now declare that MIUI 12.5.6 Enhanced Edition (nearly) makes us feel like we got a brand-new device.

Now the update is Redmi Note 9 Pro Max receiving MIUI 12.5 enhanced edition update only for Pilot testers.

Things improved with MIUI 12.5 since it was promised that Xiaomi will prioritize optimization. The update has already reached the majority of eligible devices, however, the performance gain has been limited. But, fast forward to the present, and Xiaomi appears dead set on correcting the myriad quirks and performance flaws that continue to plague MIUI 12.5. MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition was announced on August 10 and is yet another performance-oriented update. It adds no new features over MIUI 12.5 but should improve phone performance.
