Today a tweet appeared on Twitter by @stufflisting about a new Xiaomi Redmi phone which the company has taken to the IMEI database. As it can be clearly seen the model number of the device is 2201116TI and looks like it is an Indian variant.

Xiaomi the Chinese manufacture is working on this model and since the device made it to the IMEI database, so maybe we could see a new Redmi budget smartphone phone on the market very soon.

As of now we only know the model no. of the mobile we can’t tell you much about the device yet. Specifications and other things are still unknown to us and maybe in the upcoming days, we would be able to see more information regarding this device.
