OnePlus appears to be preparing the Nord N20 5G phone as a successor to last year’s Nord N10. It will be a mid-range offering at an accessible price, and 91mobiles exclusively gives you the renders and specifications in collaboration with @OnLeaks aka Steve Hemmerstoffer. The phone has a boxy form, a flat display, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, triple camera lenses placed independently, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The OnePlus Nord N20 5G frame, in particular, deviates significantly from the design of its predecessor. Let’s look at the OnePlus Nord N20 5G specifications and design that we’ve learned about.
When compared to other phones by the brand, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G design is extremely unique in its own own. It has a flat frame with chamfered corners that surrounds the display, similar to previous iPhones. This is in contrast to the Nord N10 5G’s 2.5D curved design. The power button is located on the right spine, while the volume rocker and SIM card housing are located on the left edge. The bottom of the device houses the 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, microphone, and speaker grille. Another microphone for noise suppression is located on the top.
According to OnLeaks, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G features will sport a flat 6.43-inch display (i.e. no curved display). The smartphone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, implying that the display would be AMOLED. According to OnLeaks, the phone would be powered by the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor.
The OnePlus Nord N20 5G’s cameras will include a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP lens, and a 2MP third sensor. It will have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. According to OnLeaks, the phone will be 159.8 x 73.1 x 7.7mm (9.6mm including protruding back cameras).
Interestingly, OnLeaks says that while he’s confident these are the OnePlus Nord N20 5G images, there’s a chance the phone is actually the OnePlus Nord CE2 5G. Whichever phone it is, we know affordable OnePlus phones will be available soon after receiving IMDA and BIS certifications, so the wait may not be too long. These handsets are distinct from the OnePlus 10 series of flagship cellphones that the firm is also developing. While the precise debut date has yet to be disclosed, we can confidently predict that it will happen soon.
