OnePlus is planning to launch OnePlus Buds Z2 in October and thanks to a recent leak, we have managed to gather detailed specifications of the upcoming earbuds.
Although a lot of info and features were already rumored and this leak not only confirms the previous rumors but also provides us with more detailed information regarding the features of Oneplus Buds Z2.
The most exciting feature of the Buds Z2 is the presence of 3 microphones for Active noise cancellation.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 earbuds will come with IP55 certification while the charging case will have rating protection of IPX4, The size of the earbuds is expected to be 33mm * 2244mm * 21.8 mm while the dimension of the charging case is reported to be 73.15mm * 36.80mm * 29.07mm.
OnePlus Buds Z2 will provide a decent battery backup as each earbud is powered by a 40mAH battery and the case is reported to have a 520mAH battery which will provide a total playtime up to 38 hours and goes down to 27 hours with Active noise cancellation turned on. Without the case, the buds will have 7 hours of playtime and about 5 hours with Active noise cancellation switched on.
The total weight of the OnePlus Buds Z2 (Buds+case) is reported to be only 42g while each bud is said to weigh 4.6g.
The buds will provide Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and the sound will be produced by 11mm drivers. The case will support USB Type-C charging only, No support for wireless charging.
