New OnePlus Phone Spotted On IMEI Database

OnePlus has recently gone through a lot of changes. The company recently merged with OPPO and is now focusing on launching flagship phones rather than “flagship killer” smartphones. It currently has an affordable smartphone variety under its Nord series.

The Chinese business appears to be working on a new smartphone, which could be released in its home market in the coming months. According to a Twitter user named gadgetsdata, a forthcoming OnePlus smartphone has been discovered in the IMEI database. The Model number of the new one plus device is GN2200.

So far, the OnePlus Nord, Nord CE 5G, Nord N10, Nord N100, Nord N200, and Nord 2 phones have been released in a variety of markets. It appears that the company is working on another Nord-series phone, which might be released in 2022. According to the tipster, the listing does not give the device’s official marketing name, although it could be part of the Nord series. It’s also feasible that we’re looking at the OnePlus 10 at this time.

There is no word of a new OnePlus Nord phone in the works. For the time being, the OnePlus 10 specifications are likewise being kept under wraps. Last month, it was revealed that OnePlus has no plans to release the OnePlus 9T or 9T Pro in 2021. This suggests that the OnePlus 10 will be released in 2022 as the successor to the OnePlus 9. LetsGoDigital envisions the OnePlus 10 Pro with an under-display front camera and a huge circular rear camera module with Hasselblad-branded cameras in a concept render. We’ll have to wait and see what the OnePlus GN2200 looks like in 2022.
