New LG Chromebook Has Received The Bluetooth SIG Certification

A new LG Chromebook with model no. 11TC50Q has received the Bluetooth SIG Certification(Bluetooth Special Interest Group). This suggests that the launch of this new Chromebook from LG is near.

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) is an organization that monitors the development of different Bluetooth standards and the licensing of Bluetooth technologies and trademarks to companies.

In a nutshell, Chromebooks are basically a new type computer to help you perform some tasks more efficiently. Chrome books run on Chrome OS, An Android based operating system by Google that has cloud storage, a lot of Google built-in features, and multiple layers of security.

The main usage of Chromebook is done when it is connected to an internet connection but you also can use some offline-ready apps to keep using a Chromebook when it’s not connected to the Internet.

The Chromebooks are not as versatile as Windows or Mac OS but they are cheaper and perfect for students or people who use their laptops only for performing basic functions like streaming, browsing etc.

LG usually term their Chromebooks as “Chrombase”  and we can expect the same for this upcoming Chromebook from LG.

The specifications of the upcoming Chromebook from LG is not known yet.
