Microsoft Surface Laptop SE launched

Microsoft released Windows 11 earlier this year, with a significant redesign and new features. The new Windows version prioritizes productivity while still providing a suite of privacy protections. Nearly a month after the release of Windows 11, Microsoft has launched Windows 11 SE, which is effectively Windows 11 for schools. Along with the announcement of the Surface Laptop SE, the Redmond-based American tech behemoth also revealed a new Surface Laptop SE. It is a low-cost laptop designed to compete with Chromebooks and Apple’s entry-level iPad. Let’s get into more specifics about the Windows 11 SE, Microsoft Surface Laptop SE specs, functions, and so on.

Microsoft Surface Notebook SE is the company’s low-cost laptop designed to compete with popular Chromebooks and Apple iPads. The Surface Laptop SE will be available in early 2022 for $249 (approximately Rs 18,500).

It has an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The display has thick bezels on all four sides, with the Windows logo at the bottom. Because it is a low-cost laptop intended for school-age students, the Surface Laptop SE is powered by Intel’s Celeron N4020 and Celeron N412. The laptop is available with 4GB/ 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB storage.

The low-cost laptop also boasts a slew of connectors, including one USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, a DC connector, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 1MP front camera is available for video calls. It runs Windows 11 SE, a trimmed-down version of Windows 11 designed for schools.
