Lava Agni 5G launched in India

Lava has released its first 5G mid-range smartphone in India, dubbed Agni. It has, among other things, MediaTek’s latest 5G chipset, a 90Hz display, and a 64MP quad rear camera configuration. The gadget will compete with the Realme 8s 5G, the Redmi Note 10T 5G, and other devices.

The latest Lava phone sports a 6.78-inch display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a screen-to-body ratio of 91.73 percent, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone sports a punch-hole display and a mirror matte finish on the rear. It is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset that powers the recently introduced Realme 8s 5G phone.

A quad-camera arrangement on the back of the phone is used for photography and video calling. It has a 64-megapixel sensor, a 6p lens, and an aperture of f/1.79. A 5-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor are included.

On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera built in a circular notch. The new Lava Agni smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It supports quick charging up to 30W.

It contains a fingerprint sensor on the side as well as a face unlock feature. According to Lava, the latter can unlock the phone in 0.24 seconds.

In India, the Lava Agni 5G costs Rs 19,999. The smartphone is only available in one configuration: 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. Those who pre-order the phone before November 17 will be able to purchase it at a reduced price of Rs 17,999. It should be mentioned that pre-ordering the smartphone on the official Lava website will demand a Rs 500 deposit.

The Lava Agni 5G will only be available in one color: blue. It will be available for purchase in the country on November 18 at 12:00 p.m. It will be sold through the company’s website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
