JioPhone Next Officially Announced: Price, Specifications And Launch Date Revealed

After a slew of delays and rumors, Reliance has finally unveiled its newest smartphone, the JioPhone Next, which promises to deliver exceptional performance and user experience while remaining affordable.

Jio teased the gadget earlier this week, and now we have more information on the phone’s hardware and specifications.

The phone was supposed to be released around Ganesh Chaturthi in September, but a chip shortage caused the device to be postponed, and it is now set to be released during Diwali this year.

For the display, we’re looking at a 5.45-inch HD+ panel with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels, as reported by leaks a few months back. The display is an LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for further protection.
Things get a little weird under the hood. We’re looking at Qualcomm’s QM-215 quad-core CPU, which has a clock speed of up to 1.5GHz and is combined with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with expandability up to 512GB.
In terms of cameras, you have a 13-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The back camera receives a slew of software enhancements, including HDR enhancement, portrait mode, and night mode. A 3,500mAh battery powers the smartphone.

The JioPhone Next will cost Rs. 6,499 when it is released. However, if you don’t want to spend so much money all at once, you can opt for an EMI-based plan in which you pay Rs 1,999 to obtain the phone and the rest through plans based on your usage.
