Asus VivoWatch 5 receives the Bluetooth SIG certification

ASUS is anticipated to release a new iteration of its VivoWatch SP soon. The next ASUS VivoWatch 5 has been certified by Bluetooth SIG, confirming its existence.

According to a new Bluetooth SIG filing (via stufflistings), ASUS’s future smartwatch will be called the ASUS VivoWatch 5. The listing appears to only include the LTE model of the watch, but it may possibly have a Wi-Fi model. Nonetheless, the model number HC-B05L is assigned to the VivoWatch 5 LTE.

Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t provide anything other than the fact that it supports Bluetooth and has a name. However, we anticipate that the smartwatch will surface on numerous certifications that will reveal its specs.

Although there has been no official confirmation, rumors suggest that the ASUS VivoWatch 5 will sport a circular dial like its predecessor. We anticipate that it will include a color display, GPS functionality, and other health-related features.
